Shivathmika woke up from her little nap as the 800-metre race was progressing on the track. She sat on the lap of her father Sudheesh and searched for Saranya. As everyone cheered on for Saranya as she crossed the finishing point, Shivathmika gave a coy little smile not knowing what was happening around her. Bedadka native N Saranya, who came to the race with her baby, became a star on the track and the gallery as well. She won the first prize in the 800 and 400-meter races in under-23 category in District Athletic Championship.
