Hub Incharge Responsibilities
1. Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day hub operations to ensure smooth first-mile, mid-mile, and last-mile processes.
- Ensure timely arrival, sorting, dispatch, and delivery of shipments.
- Maintain compliance with operational SOPs.
2. Team Handling
- Manage Delivery Associates, Executives, Loaders, and other hub staff.
- Plan shift schedules, assign duties, and monitor performance.
- Conduct daily briefings and resolve team issues.
3. Inventory & Shipment Control
- Ensure accurate scanning, sorting, and tagging of parcels.
- Monitor ageing shipments, return shipments (RTO), and pending deliveries.
- Maintain hub stock accuracy and reconcile shortages/excess.
4. Customer & Client Coordination
- Handle escalations related to delayed, missing, or damaged shipments.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and central teams for operational requirements.
5. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, security protocols, and audit guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety measures, and proper storage conditions at the hub.
6. Manpower Planning
- Forecast manpower needs based on shipment load.
- Coordinate with HR for hiring and training requirements.
7. MIS Reporting
- Prepare daily/weekly operational reports (DA productivity, delivery % , RTO %, ageing).
- Share timely updates with regional and central teams.
8. Process Improvement
- Identify gaps in processes and implement corrective actions.
- Improve delivery TAT, customer satisfaction, and reduce operational losses.
9. Cost Control
- Optimize resource utilization (manpower, vehicle usage).
- Monitor and control hub expenses to stay within budget.
10. Compliance Handling
- Ensure all operations follow company policies, statutory compliance, and audit norms.
